The Stiva family warmly welcomed students, alumni, and faculty from the International Early Childhood Education and Development Program at the University of Haifa – a one-year, English-language program preparing professionals from education, health, and social services to become agents of change in developing countries.
The gathering brought together the University’s leadership, including President Prof. Gur Alroey, Vice President for International Affairs Prof. Tal Katz-Gerro, Vice President for Philanthropy and Resource Development Mr. Gideon Hersch, and Director of the International School Prof. Adar Ben-Eliyahu, alongside ambassadors, consuls, and diplomatic representatives from students’ home countries. The event highlighted the program’s global significance, its role in shaping skilled professionals, and the University of Haifa’s commitment to fostering international collaboration and societal impact.
Students from Myanmar, Ethiopia, Zambia, Tanzania, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, and Morocco participated in this year’s cohort, exemplifying the University’s reach and influence across cultures. The evening celebrated human connections, shared vision, and hope – a vivid demonstration of how academia can cross borders, bridge cultures, and drive meaningful global change.
