This project tackles the overlooked issue of sexual violence against men, examining its psychological, social, and policy dimensions to reduce stigma and improve survivor-centered support.
Aligned with SDG 3, SDG 5, and SDG 16, the initiative translates research into impact through policy advocacy, professional training, academic dissemination, and the development of an international online course at the University of Haifa — advancing more inclusive, equitable support systems for all survivors.
This project was selected as part of the University’s 2024 Call for Impact Projects, launched by the Division of Innovation & Sustainability to promote research and educational initiatives with significant social and environmental impact. Following a highly competitive selection process, each awarded project received ₪50,000 for a 24-month period to support interdisciplinary collaboration and translate academic knowledge into real-world outcomes.
